The 2024 Crimson Tide football season was one for the history books: it was our 1st season with our new head coach Kalen DeBoer, we named the field after the GOAT Nick Saban, our star WR was only 17 YEARS OLD and it was my senior season!
If you haven't figured it out by now SEC football games are fashion shows, so you know I went all out for one last season. Check out what I wore to cheer on the Tide for the LAST time as a collegiate!
For the first game of the season, I wore the EVIE TOP with our sold out THELMA SKORT! I styled it with the Abby boots from Tecovas, a charm necklace I made myself, some fun sunnies from Madewell and of course one of our gameday buttons. It did end up pouring down rain this afternoon but that didn't stop my friends and I from going to the Quad and enjoying our first gameday as seniors!
For our second home game of the season against South Florida I styled our TALLY SET with some red metallic boots from amazon and I tied my Saturday Silks Skinny Scarf in a bow on one of my boots. To add one last little touch of crimson to my outfit I wore a pair of red sunnies from Madewell, This gameday my boyfriend got me a wristband to sit with him in his fraternity's block of seats in the student section so I spent the day with him and his friends which is always a fun time!
The game against UGA was definitely the biggest game of the season, which meant I needed to go all out for my outfit! This game also happened a couple days before my birthday so my family came to town to celebrate and I just love having them in T-Town with me! Now for the outfit details: I wore our sold out RALEIGH DRESS, with my black Annie boots from Tecovas and tied my Saturday Silks Skinny Scarf around my neck. Connor and Jackie were also rocking their SS scarves for the game - you may or may not have seen us on the Saturday Silks Insta that weekend👀
While the Vandy game is a sore subject for us Bama fans at least I had on a really cute outfit and as my dad texted me after that game "at least you're in a fun town". Besides the game this sister weekend with Con was one of my favorite weekends from this past semester! For this game I wore our RACHEL VEST with a black leather midi skirt I found at the Pants Store and some studded ballet flats from Target. Con was also wearing M&V for this game and wore our FAYETTE DRESS with black Annie boots from Tecovas, and of course both of us were rocking our gameday buttons!
We had an early morning for the South Carolina game since it was an 11 am kickoff, so I kept it pretty simple with my outfit and threw on our MONTGOMERY DRESS with my cowboy hat I bough at Swag in Tuscaloosa a couple years ago, my Saturday Silks burgundy spirit scarf and my black Annie boots from Tecovas. This game was the first time I sat with Clay in the MBA block seats which are right in the front by the field so it was very cool getting to see the game up close!
My last Homecoming! Luckily this year as a senior I did not have to do to much prep for homecoming (aka pomping) so I really got to enjoy all the Homecoming festivities! That morning I met up with Clay and his parents to watch the parade, then we stopped by Clay's fraternity house and went to a tailgate tent on the Quad before I headed over to the Theta house to meet up with my friends and go into the stadium!
This game was also pretty special because one of my best friends, Laney, was on Hoco Exec this year and she got to stand on the field during half time!! For this game I wore our DENNY DRESS (yes we named it after Denny Chimes) and my tall white Abby boots from Tecovas. If you don't own a pair of Tecovas boots this is officially your sign to go buy a pair!
The second to last home game of the season was against Mercer and it was finally starting to cool down outside in Alabama! I styled our KERRY JACKET with a little tan knit dress and my tall brown Old Gringo Boots, and for a little bit of crimson I wore my Saturday Silks spirit scarf!
Time for the last time I would watch the Crimson Tide play as a college student🥹 This was also my very first Iron Bowl because I've always been at home for Thanksgiving, but I knew I needed to be there for my last home game. Con and our parents stayed with me in Tuscaloosa for Thanksgiving, which was such a special memory to have in my college town.
With this being my last game as a college student I needed to go out with a bang and this I can confidently say was my best gameday outfit ever! I wore our EFFIE JUMPSUIT which just screams Alabama with the crimson and tan houndstooth print. Under the jumpsuit I wore our KAREN TURTLENECK and since it was a little cold out I threw on a dark brown leather jacket I found at Target.
Getting to spend the day with my family and best friends and watching the Tide beat the Auburn Tigers was the best way I could have wrapped up my last football season of my college career (and if you know me you know that many tears were shed during my last 60 minutes in Bryant-Denny).
I am so thankful for all the memories I have made the last four years cheering on the Crimson Tide and though I won't be there for every home game anymore, my friends and I have promised each other we'll always meet up for at least one game every season! ROLL TIDE ROLL!
